M2M Infotech ("we", "us", "our"), located at Revenue Colony, South Shivaji Nagar, Sangli 416416, Maharashtra, India, operates PlaySlot, a sports venue booking service delivered through WhatsApp. This policy explains what information we collect when you use PlaySlot, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By messaging our WhatsApp business number or using the PlaySlot service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

 

1. Information we collect: 
 

From players (people booking courts):-

​

  • Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name

  • The messages you send to our WhatsApp number, including venue, date, and slot selections

  • Booking history (venue, court, date, time, amount)

  • Payment status and transaction reference (payments are processed by our payment partner; we never see or store your card, UPI PIN, or bank credentials)


From venue owners:-
 

  • Business name, contact person, WhatsApp number, and venue address

  • Venue details: sports offered, number of courts, operating hours, pricing, and photographs

  • Bank account details required for settlement of booking payments


Automatically:-
 

  • Message delivery and read metadata provided by the WhatsApp Business Platform

  • Technical logs (timestamps, message identifiers) needed to operate the service reliably
     

2. How we use your information:

 

  • To process bookings and send booking confirmations, payment links, receipts, and slot reminders on WhatsApp

  • To notify venue owners of new bookings and cancellations

  • To settle payments to venue owners and calculate service fees

  • To generate booking reports for venue owners

  • To provide customer support and resolve disputes

  • To send service updates and, only where you have not opted out, occasional offers relevant to your

  • To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the service


We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

3. Marketing messages and opt-out:

We may occasionally send you promotional messages on WhatsApp (for example, available slots at venues you have booked before). You can stop these at any time by replying STOP to our WhatsApp number or emailing us. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, payment receipts, reminders for slots you have booked) will continue, as they are part of the service.

4. Who we share information with:

We share information only with the service providers needed to run PlaySlot:-

Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform) — to send and receive WhatsApp messages. Your use of WhatsApp is also governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

 

Our payment partner (e.g., Razorpay) — to process payments and settle amounts to venue owners. They are PCI-DSS compliant and handle all payment credentials.

Microsoft Azure — our cloud hosting provider, where booking data is stored on servers.

Venue owners  — when you book a slot, the venue owner receives your name, WhatsApp number, and booking details so they can honour your booking.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or a government authority.

5. Data retention

 

We retain booking records and related personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements (generally up to 8 years for financial records under Indian law). Conversation state data used to guide you through a booking is retained only as long as operationally necessary. You may request deletion of your data as described below.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

 

  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your personal information (except records we must retain by law)

  • Withdraw consent to promotional messages at any time

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between WhatsApp, our servers, and our payment partner, access controls on our systems, and hosting on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.

 

8. Children

 

PlaySlot is not directed at children under 18. Bookings should be made by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

 

9. Changes to this policy

 

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through our WhatsApp channel or website.
